Winnie M. Petty

Winnie M. Petty, 90, of Dyersburg, died Friday, December 23, 2022 at The Bay at Dyersburg.  Born August 19, 1932, she is the daughter of the late Rube and Amanda Maxwell Maynard. She was a former employee at Sylvania and J.C. Penney’s.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2022 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Dr. William Oakley with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Kevin Petty, Bobby Ellis, Dustin Bennett, John Ford and Ricky Petty will be serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 27^th until service time at the funeral home.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Petty of Ripley; Ricky Petty of Dyersburg; four grandchildren, Dustin Bennett, Kevin Petty, John Paul Bennett, Alison Petty Ellis; four great-grandchildren, Knox Ellis, Cooper Ellis, Jones Petty, Paxton Ellis; two sisters, Doris Hall (Ken) of Dyersburg, Virginia Jenkins of Berwick, PA and one brother, James Maynard of Arizona.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Mark Thomas Petty, Dennis Ray Petty; and one brother, Ray Bryan Maynard.
