William Edward Rogers, 69, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, January 3, 2021 at his residence. Born June 19, 1951, he is the son of the late William Burton and Vernell Webb Rogers. He was owner of Rogers Auto Service. William was a member of First Presbyterian Church and a proud lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and the National Wild Turkey Federation. He was an avid hunter. He was a volunteer with the Finley Fire Department for over 20 years.
Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery with Reverend Bill Evans. Friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.
Larry Jones, Danny Joe Ennis, George Bruner, Dustin Ennis, Roger Little and Howard Runions will serve at pallbearers.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jennifer Little Rogers; two daughters, Heather Rogers Rimmer (Jason), Lindsey LeAnn Rogers, both of Dyersburg; one son, Heath Lee Rogers (Ashley) of Dyersburg; three grandchildren, Farrah Rogers, William Rogers, Wyatt Rogers; and one sister, Diane Rogers McCutcheon of Dyersburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Danny Earl Rogers.
