Walter “Buddy” Nale, 91, of Bogota, died Thursday, January 10, 2019 at West Tennessee Healthcare – Dyersburg. Born August 5, 1927, he was the son of the late Raymond and Alice McLean Nale. He was a farmer and a member of Miston Baptist Church where he is Chairman of the Deacons and Former Sunday School Superintendent. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2019 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Carmon Dennison with interment to follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 12th from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. He is survived by two daughters, Candy Nale of Bogota, Sherry (Dan) Glancey of Cape Coral, FL; two grandchildren, Tess Glancey (Jason) Daskas and Reo Glancey; two great-grandchildren, Henry and Violet Daskas; two sisters, Margaret Farrow of Bogota, Mary Jane Baker of Miston; four brothers, John Nale, Albert Nale, both of Miston; Paul Nale, Lesley “Brown” Nale, both of Dyersburg; Danny Baggett, Rickey Baggett, Michael Nale, Jack Holland, Steve Brown and Matt Nale will serve as pallbearers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, June Nale; his daughter, Apprel Tate; and one brother, Wesley “Blue” Nale.
