Vance Reasons, 93, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, January 13, 2019 at The Highlands of Dyersburg. Born April 7, 1925, he was the son of the late Ike and Lottie Lewis Reasons. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Mr. Reasons was a retired salesman at Rhea Wholesale after 40 years of service. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Ronnie Turner with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 15th beginning at 12 Noon until service time at the funeral home. He is survived by his three daughters, Linda Seratt, Wanda Wilkerson, Patty Johnson, all of Dyersburg; six grandchildren, Tommy Seratt, Tyler Seratt, Zenia McKinley, Brandon Blalock, Tisha Burke, Eloiett Johnson, II; eleven great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Sue Jamison of Marion, AR; and one brother, Billy Joe Reasons of Dyersburg. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers and great-grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Frances Laverne Reasons; one granddaughter, Michelle Montgomery; one sister, Frances Reasons Pease and three brothers, Thomas Reasons, Dalton Reasons and Charles Reasons.
