Tony Agresta

Anthony Joseph “Tony” Agresta, 78, of Dyersburg, died Friday, January 5, 2024 at his residence.  Born June 13, 1945, he is the son of the late Samuel and Catherine Alvino Agresta. He owned and operated Agresta’s Pizza in Dyersburg for 44 years.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2024 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Brother Mac Daniels with interment to follow in Sorrell’s Chapel Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends Monday, January 8^th from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the funeral home.   

Steven Agresta, Hunter Fraser, Gage Fraser, Paul Fraser, Joe Agresta Shannon Garrett will serve as pallbearers.  Mike Agresta will serve as honorary pallbearer.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Adkins Agresta; one daughter, Michelle Fraser (Paul) of Dyersburg; two sons, Mike Agresta, Steve Agresta (Anna) both of Dyersburg: two stepsons, Earl Braden (Kristen), Shawn Braden, both of Dyersburg; one sister, Joan Deprizio of Chicago, IL; one brother, Joseph Agresta of Dyersburg; fourteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Fortner and his nephew, Wayne Herzig.
