Tellie Mai Crowson

Tellie Mai Via Harris Crowson passed away at Dyersburg Rehabilitation on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at the age of 88.  She was born December 6, 1931 to James and Henrietta Moore Via at Heloise, TN.  Her mother died when she was ten years old and she was raised by her father and stepmother, Clara Metcalf Via. Tellie Mai always loved her church, Phillips Street Church of Christ, her friends, her many pets and her home.

Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery officiated by Mr. Jeff Golson.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

She is survived by her sister and several nieces and nephews.

Rob Enoch, Brodie Cupples, Terry Wallace, Douglas Medlin, Bryan Medlin and Joe Rogers will serve as pallbearers.

Tellie Mai was preceded in death by her two husbands, Bill “Petey” Crowson and James E. Harris, her father and stepmother, James and Clara Via and her half brother, James Via, Jr.
