Ross Hudgins, 42, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He is the son of James Ross Hudgins. Ross was a truck driver and an avid video game player. He loved to travel and his work carried him all across the United States. He would “cream” all opponents on rough and tuff Mario KART. He loved puzzles and his cat GATO. He loved fireworks—the louder the better. His hobby was fishing for crappie. Nature hikes were his passion.
Ross loved to tinker with anything mechanical that had a motor.
You never, ever wanted to try to take a dish of sushi from him if you didn’t want to experience his wrath.
He is survived by his wife Felicia; his father James; his two sisters: Patty Yawn of Georgia and Milessa Lightcap of South Carolina; and one brother Bill Speece of West Virginia.
Cremation services are under the direction of Curry Funeral Home. We are privileged and honored to serve the Hudgins family. You may share your condolences and your memories with the family at www.curryfuneral.com.
