Robert Garland “Bob” Shull, 64, of Ridgely, died Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Born April 24, 1957, he was the son of the late Nard C. Shull and Betty Jo Shull. Bob was owner/operator of B.& M. Farms for 45 years. He held many positions at the Ridgely First United Methodist Church and was a member of the Farm Bureau Board of Directors. He was a graduate of Ole Miss where he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. He was an avid “Ole Miss” Rebel fan after he graduated and loved his Cardinals baseball. Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend who loved fiercely and without reservation.
Graveside funeral services will be at 12:00 noon Monday, November 15, 2021 officiated by Reverend Barbara Blackmon-Fortune at New Haven Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 15th beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. in the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Monica Shull, two daughters, Laura Leigh Williams (Peter) of Savannah, GA, Leah Kathryn Shull of Ridgely; his grandson, Robert Howard “Howie”; his sister, Kathryn Ann Basham of Bentonville, Arkansas; and cousins Lynne Patterson and Jeffrey Phebus.
Bob was a life-long member of the First United Methodist Church of Ridgely, and the family requests memorials be directed there (120 Church Street, Ridgely, Tenn. 38080) or Reelfoot Rural Ministry (6923 Minnink Elbridge Road, Obion, Tenn. 38240).
