Frankie McCorkle, Jr.

Ray Franklin “Frankie” McCorkle, Jr., 46, of Colorado Springs, Co, formerly of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at his residence.  Born August 12, 1972, he was the son of Joyce Patterson McCorkle and the late Ray Franklin McCorkle, Sr.  He was a warehouse worker and a member of The Church of God. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2018 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Brother Jim Ennis with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 19th from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.                                    He is survived by his daughter, Jenna Brooke Chandler; his mother, Joyce Patterson McCorkle; one sister, Cathy L. McCorkle Hendren (Shannon); one brother, Jerry Lynn McCorkle; his nephew Ricky Hendren; special aunt, Margie Galloway, aunts Paula Patterson, Nadine Patterson all of Dyersburg; uncle, retired USMC Thomas E. Patterson, of CA and host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Shannon Smith, Ricky Hendren, Derek Patterson, Kenneth Patterson, Anthony Patterson, Brian Morgan and Mike Prater will serve as pallbearers.   In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Ray “Don” McCorkle, Timothy Eugene “Tim” McCorkle, one aunt, Betty Prater, three uncles, Ray Patterson, Jimmy Patterson and Jerry P.
