Peggy Marie Reeves

Peggy Marie Reeves, 85, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.  Born July 20, 1934, she is the daughter of the late Walter and Beulah Mae Becton Brashier.   She was a homemaker and a member of Finley Baptist Church.  

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Finley Baptist Church officiated by Reverend Charlie Halliburton with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Andy Bivens, Tim Bivens, Andrew Wright, Brad Studdard, Theo Reeves and Chris White will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Joe Pritchett Sunday School Class and members of the Callie Jackson Sunday School Class at Finley Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 9^th beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church.                                   

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, John Nick Reeves; one daughter, Vicki E. Misener of Dyersburg; one son John N. Reeves, Jr. of Honolulu, HI; three grandchildren, Tammie Odenbrett, Ken Misener, Christopher Misener; five great-grandchildren, Emily Odenbrett, Robbie Odenbrett, Hailey Odenbrett, Carson Misener, Rhylin Misener; her sister Barbara Ann Butler of Dyersburg; her niece, Jamilu Nelson of Dyersburg; and her nephew Cledus Butler of Peidmont, MO.   

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Walter Lamar Brashier.
