Patsy Lou Joyce

Patsy Joyce, 75, of Ridgely, died Sunday, October 15, 2023 at AHC Dyersburg.  Born December 14, 1947, she is the daughter of the late Finis Clifton and Elizabeth Lou Luckett Markham.  She is a loving Mama and Granny and a member of River of Life Church. Patsy was a certified nursing assistant for many years.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18, 2023         at River of Life Church officiated by Reverend Clayton Mahan with interment to follow in New Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 18^th beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church.

Bubba Joyce, Jerry B. Hampton, Carl Bennett, Mike Moore, Carl Meddows, Robert Wood, Jacob Wood and Tyler Wood will be serving as pallbearers.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Meddows (Carl) of Ridgely; five grandchildren, Sabrina Joyce (Tony), Bubba Joyce (K.P.), Megan Joyce, Maggie Joyce, Bailee Dorian (Candon); six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sherry Kuykendall (Ronnie) of Ridgely, Sandra Ligons (Jimmy) of Wynnburg, Charlotte Moore of Tiptonville; two brothers, Ray Markham (Peggy) of Newbern, Danny Markham (Darlene) of Ridgely and her grandpup, Harley Mae.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Junior Joyce; her son, Ernest Jason Joyce; three sisters, Brenda Stanfill, Barbara Parrish, Linda Ragan; and two brothers, Bobby Markham and Mack Markham.
