Patricia Ann Carter

Patricia Ann Carter, 75, of Clinton, formerly of Dyersburg, died May 11, 2021 at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital in Knoxville. Born January 20, 1946, she is the daughter of the late Eugene Parks and Anna Mary Heathcott Ragland.  She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church.  Patricia was a retired bookkeeper for K-Mart.

Due to the families concern for the safety of others, services will be private.

Matt McMahan, Daniel Mitchell, Stephen Whitson, Tad Hogue, Joshua Hogue, Kent Mitchell and Richard Oliver will serve as pallbearers.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Carter; two daughters, Kim Mitchell (Kent), Dana Hogue, both of Clinton; six grandchildren, Amanda Mitchell (Matt McMahan), Samantha (Stephen) Whitson, Daniel Mitchell, Tad (Nicole) Hogue, Brandon (Sarah) Hogue, Joshua Hogue; and one great-granddaughter, Penelope Hogue.

The family requests memorials be directed to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN  38101-9929.
