Norman A. Ellis, Sr.

November 26, 1943 — December 12, 2020

Norman A. Ellis, Sr., 77, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.  Born November 26, 1943, he is the son of the late Earl Carl and Berter Grace Siler Ellis. He was retired from AB&B in Alamo and a member of East Dyersburg United Methodist Church.

Graveside funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Dyer County Memorial Gardens.  

The family will receive friends Tuesday beginning at 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home.

James Shawver, Michael Ellis, Tyler Ellis, Darrell Holder and Rufus Roney will serve at pallbearers.

He is survived by his two sons, Norman A. Ellis, Jr. of Obion, Scott Ellis of Dyersburg; four grandchildren, Michael Scott Ellis, Tyler Scott Ellis, Emma Grace Ellis, Alaina Brooke Ellis; and one brother, Duke G. Ellis (Vicki) of Franklin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, John Franklin Ellis.
