Mary Criswell

Mary Criswell, 73, of Jackson, formerly of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Born December 16, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Clyde and Margaret Louise Couch.  She was retired from Criswell’s Paint and Supply and Lowe’s. Graveside funeral services will be Friday, January 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Brother Billy Gene Brooks at Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, January 11th from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband, Sam Criswell; two sons, David Criswell (Penny) of Jackson, Gary Criswell (Jennifer) of Finley; four grandchildren, David Paul Criswell, Logan Criswell, Corey Criswell, Hayley Criswell; four great-grandchildren, Landon Criswell, Lane Stewart, Luke Criswell, Caroline Criswell; one sister, Peggy Janczak (Richard) of Needville, TX and one brother, Wallace Adkins of Killeen, TX. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family requests memorials be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN  38101-9929.
