Marilyn Elizabeth Wilkes

Marilyn Elizabeth Wilkes, 84, of Dyersburg, died, after a short illness, Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg. Born January 2, 1937, she is the daughter of the late James Sr. and Ruth Brown Wilkes.  She was a member of Dyersburg First United Methodist Church and a retired school teacher.  Marilyn was an active member of D.A.R.

She is survived by her brother Jimmy Wilkes (Amelia) of Dyersburg and her sister Alice Calhoun (Ronnie) of Niceville, FL.  She leaves behind her nieces, Emily Allen (Matt) of Niceville, FL, Eva Marie Kirby (Steve) of Dyersburg, Neely Calhoun of Shalimar, FL, Elizabeth Baldwin (Neill) of Spring Hill, TN, as well as her great-nieces and great-nephews, Connor Allen of Niceville, FL, Kent Kirby, Amelia Claire Kirby, and Wilkes Kirby of Dyersburg, Maxwell Brock and Caroline Brock of Shalimar, FL, and Allison Baldwin and Rachel Baldwin of Spring Hill, TN.
