Marie Valentine Hendren

Marie Valentine Hendren, 88, of Dyersburg, died February 11, 2021 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg. Born October 30, 1932, she is the daughter of the late Jesse and Maggie Lou Vestal Valentine.  She was a retired from Heckethorn Manufacturing Company and also worked at Walmart.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2021 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Brother Calvin Smith with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday beginning at 12 Noon until service time at the funeral home.

Family members will serve at pallbearers.

She is survived by her son, Billy Riggins; four grandchildren, Billy Riggins (Tiffany), Ashley Adams (Billy), Danna Riggins and Catherine Bell (Jerry).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hendren; her son, James Danny Riggins; her sister, Virginia Jones; and her brother, J.M. Valentine.
