Kenneth Hall

Kenneth Ray Hall, 82, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.  Born In Brady, TX on May 28, 1940, he is the son of the late George and Merle Richardson Hall.  Ken proudly served his country in the United States Army, retiring as a sergeant, after serving in Vietnam and Germany. Ken served three tours in Korea and was discharged after 20 years and 9 months.

A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2023 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Dr. William Oakley.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Doris Maynard Hall; one daughter, Mitzi Nelson Dempsey (Dennis) of Richmond, VA; two grandchildren, Bryan Thomas Dempsey, Misti Lynn DeLoach; and one great-granddaughter, Anna Kunz; one great-great granddaughter, Hailey Ryder; his nephew, Danny Windham; and his niece, Deborah Acres.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by their daughter, Linda DeLoach; two brothers, Charles Hall, Leland Burnell Hall; and one sister, Barbara Windham.
