Judy Diane Brooks

Judy Boswell Brooks, 67, of Obion, died Sunday, December 17, 2023 at her residence.  Born May 23, 1956, she is the daughter of David Boswell and the late Polly Thompson. She attended Southside Baptist Church.  Judy was the former bookkeeper at Lane Gin and worked in the cardiac unit in ICU at the local hospital.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 20, 2023 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Brother Loren Stephens with interment to follow in Sorrell’s Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 20^th beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.   

Joel Evans, Lane Evans, Bubba Boswell, Larry McCamon will be serving as pallbearers.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Arnold; her father, David Boswell of Dyersburg; two sisters, Wanda Boswell McCamon (Larry) of Biloxi, MS, Joyce Ann Permenter (Ernie) of Harrison, AR; and two grandchildren, David Alan Arnold, Jennafer Matice Arnold.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael David Boswell, Sr.; her step-mother, Nelda Boswell; and her step-father, J.N. Thompson.
