Jon Welch, 41, of Dyersburg, died Monday, February 1, 2021 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis. Born April 8, 1979, he is the son of Johnnie and Barbara Welch. Jon spent his entire adult life as an HVAC Salesman and spent the last part of his career at Winnelson. He was able to meet great people who became a special part of his life. He was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.
Jon also met many friends through his love for duck hunting. Anyone who had just one conversation with him would always hear of his love for hunting. Not a day passed that he didn’t talk about it, think about it, read about it or watch something about duck hunting.
While duck hunting was one passion, his main love was for his wife, two children, family and his friends. There was always a laugh to be had in his presence. Whether it be a joke, a crazy face, that silly wig or a wild and crazy story about something he had pulled off at some point in his life, he was always the life of the party. Jon loved with his whole heart. He loved family and friends like no other and always did whatever he could to help them.
