John Dee Epperson, Jr.

John D. Epperson, Jr., 58, of Hornbeak, died Sunday, July 21 ,2024 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born November 6, 1965, he is the son of John D. Epperson, Sr. and the late Cora Epperson. He attended Hornbeak Baptist Church. His whole life revolved around being a Dad to his girls and a Pops to his grandkids.  He was also an Air Force veteran.

 Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 25, 2024, in the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Brother Eric Burress 

 The family will receive visitors Wednesday, July 24th from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

 CJ Sullivan, Danny Stephens, Frank Spahic, Nathan Spaulding, Mike Henderson, Jason Adams, John Michael Green and Scott Smith will serve as pallbearers.

 He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Gina Epperson; two daughters, Jordan Green (John Michael) of Troy, Johnna Epperson (Scott Smith) of Jackson, his father, John D. Epperson, Sr. of Hornbeak; one sister, Nancy Sullivan (Timmy Vancleave) of Hornbeak; three grandchildren, Harper Green, Tripp Smith and Baby Boy Green; five nieces and nephews; and three great nieces. 

 The family requests memorials be directed to Hornbeak Baptist Church, 258 North Main Street, Hornbeak, TN 38232.
