Joey Wallace

Joey Wallace, 69, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, December 9, 2021 at this residence.  Born August 17, 1952, he was the son of the late Joseph Martin Wallace and Martha Ann Rose. Joey was retired from Rick Hill Nissan as Body Shop Manager.  After retirement, his #1 job was sitting behind home plate cheering on whatever team his grandson was playing for. His favorite job was being Poppy to his grandchildren and their friends. He was also a member of First Assembly of God.    

Celebration of Life services will be at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2021 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Jacob Winegardner.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 14^th beginning at 4:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Angela Hill Wallace; his daughter, Lauren Wallace Wooldridge (Nick) of Dyersburg; grandchildren, Makhi Wooldridge, Makenzie Wooldridge, Treasure Wheeler; and his brother Tim Wallace (Kathy) of Covington.  

The family requests memorials be directed to Breakfast Rotary Club Christmas for Kids, P.O. Box 1822, Dyersburg, TN  38025-1822.
