Joanne Kaye Ward

JoAnne Kaye Ward, 62, of Dyersburg, died Friday, March 8, 2019 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.  Born February 23, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Roy B. and Dorothy Dean Ward.  She was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2019 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Pastor David Prince with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday, March 10^th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.                                    

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Smith of Dyersburg; her husband of 22 years, Jerry Huffman of Dyersburg; one grandson, Ashton Sartain of Dyersburg; and three brothers, Donald Ward (Judy) of Newbern, Darrell Ward of Savannah and Mike Ward of Paris.

Darren Riggs, Phillip McKnight, Michael Nichols, Ronnie Dean, Thomas McIntosh and Charles Dean will serve as pallbearers.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Cynthia Hinson and her brother, Larry Ward.
