Jimmie Carolyn Hearnsberger

Jimmie Carolyn Hearnsberger, 85, of Dyersburg, died Monday, March 27, 2023, at her residence.  Born December 7, 1937, she is the daughter of the late Jim Lee and Cora Lee Palmer Phillips. She was homemaker.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 30, 2023 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Loren Stephens with interment to follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

Barry Davis, Jeremy Baker, Kaden Baker, Kolton Baker, Ryan Sawyers and Mike Bailey will be serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 29^th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

She is survived by three daughters, Karen Sawyers (Ricky), Kim Woodlan, both of Dyersburg, Holly Dean (Scott) of Jackson; two sons, Craig Cogdell (Linda) of Dyersburg, Chuck Seaton of Bolivar; three sisters, Anne Southerland of Oklahoma City, OK, Faye Thompson of Memphis; Joyce Jones (Billy) of Dyersburg; one brother, Bobby Phillips (Sandra) of MS; eight grandchildren, Jimmy Lowe, Ryan Sawyers (Bethany), Pennie Bailey (Mike), Courtney Baker (Jeremy), Keith Gardner, Cody Gardner, Brooklyn Blackwell, Nole Dean; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Hearnsberger; two sisters, Betty Meyers, Sue Alford; and one grandson, Jamie Lowe.
