Jerry Turnbo

Jerry Turnbo, 69, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, December 26, 2021, at AHC of Dyersburg.  Born April 13, 1953, he was the son of the late Grady and Trothey Adelia Noe Turnbo.  He was retired as a construction superintendent with Smith Doyle Contractors.  Jerry was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ in RoEllen.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021, in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Brother Udell Holmes with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Mike Pankey, Bubba Turner, Junior Singleton, Johnny Singleton, John Turner and Lee Turner will serve as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Lynn Canada and Christopher Canada.

The family will receive visitors Thursday morning beginning at 12 Noon until service time at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Turnbo; one daughter, Cynthia Kay Turnbo Oldham of Pensacola, FL; two step sons, Terry Lynn Canada (Karen) of Ridgely, Gregory Scott Canada (Shelean) of Dyersburg; three sisters, Martha Turner, Linda Singleton, Barbara Singleton, all of Dyersburg; one brother, Johnny Turnbo (Priscilla) of Newbern; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Willie Turnbo.
