Jerry Glenn Fortner

Jerry Fortner, 71, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at his residence.  Born March 27, 1951, he is the son of the late Pinkie and Mary Martha Howell Fortner.  He was employed for 26 years as a maintenance mechanic at Sud-Chemie in Louisville, KY.  Mr. Fortner proudly served his country is the United States Marine Corp.

He is survived by his daughter Alyson Trump; step-daughter Sandra Bygler; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Sue Neville Fortner; his son Zachary Fortner; four sisters Virginia Climer, Patty Prince, Dina Harris, Cindy Johnson; and two brothers Joe Jacobs and Larry Fortner.
