Jennie McClain

Jennie Love McClain, 93, of Nashville, formerly of Dyersburg, died Saturday, September 23, 2023 at The Blakeford at Green Hills in Nashville.  Born September 5, 1930, she is the daughter of the late Charles and Essie Mae Richardson Love.  She was a homemaker and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Fairview Cemetery officiated by her loving family.

Visitation will be private.

John Michael Partin, Andrew Partin, Steve Partin, David Hamilton, Andrew Denton and Tracy Latham will be serving as honorary pallbearers.

She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann Partin (Steve) of Brentwood; her son, Bob McClain (Tina) of Trenton; five grandchildren, John Michael Partin, Mary Susan Hamilton (David), Andrew Partin (Kristi), Grace Denton (Andrew) and Nina Arnold (Johnny); and nine great-grandchildren, Isla Jane Partin, Ashton Partin, Everett Partin, Thomas Hamilton, Charlie Denton, John Harold Arnold, Jackson Arnold, Jacob Hamilton, Emily Hamilton; and nephews, Bryan Love (Angie) and Greg Love, both of Halls.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Thomas McClain (08/11/2005) and her brother, Buddy Love.

The family requests memorials be directed to American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
