Helen Joan Canada

Helen Joan Canada, 76, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Dyersburg Manor. Born in Obion, TN on April 6. 1943, she is the daughter of the late Clarence and Laura Clarice Comer Gray. She was a homemaker and attended Springhill Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 12 Noon Tuesday, January 21, 2020 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Mr. Glen Burse with interment to follow in Church Grove Cemetery in Newbern.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 21st beginning at 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

She is survived by her daughter, Angie Weatherford (Milton) of Dyersburg; three sons, Ronald Canada (Flor) of Kissimmee, FL, David Canada (Debbie) of Jackson; Tim Canada (Nelda) of Yorkville; seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Nick Weatherford, Chad Canada, Daniel Canada, Justin Canada, Josh Canada, Evan Canada and Parker Plemons will serve as pallbearers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Riley Franklin Canada; one daughter, Leticia Arellanes; one son, Tony “Gator” Canada; one sister, Bonnie Bonner and one brother, Bobby Gray.
