Grace Ann Lee

Grace Ann Lee, 81, beloved wife of James Lee, died Sunday morning, September 3, 2023 at her residence.  Born October 10, 1941, she is the daughter of the late Charles Asa and Evelyn Orene Bradshaw Walker.   Mrs. Lee is a member of Three Oaks Baptist Church.  She was retired from Dyersburg Fabrics after 25 years.  Prior to Dyersburg Fabrics she worked at J.C. Penney’s for 20 years. Grace Lee was the former Chairman of the Women’s Republican Party and former member of Lydia Women’s Circle at Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Bill Phipps with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Walker Ridgeway, Jackson Ridgeway, John Penn Ridgeway, Ty Jones, Kurt Walker and Ronnie Beckett will serve as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearer will be Bobby Lynn Williamson.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 6^th beginning at 11:00 a.m. service time at the funeral home.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, James Lee; one daughter Lori Smith (Steve) of Jackson; one son, James “Jim” Taylor Lee, II (Stacie) of Newbern; four grandchildren, Christie Davison (Kirk), Melissa Ridgeway (John Penn), Ashlie Jones (Ty), Evan Lee (Katie Willis); five great-grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Peggy Walker of Dyersburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Walker.
