Frances Hammond McPherson

Frances Hammond McPherson, 93, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at her sons home in Newbern. Born August 1, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Ed and Goldie Ballard Hudson. She was retired from Heckethorn Manfacturing and a member of First Pentecostal Church.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

She is survived by two sons, Scott Hammond (Judy) of Newbern, Rob Hammond (Pattye) of Hornbeak; six grandchildren, Stacy Sanko (Brad), Chris Wood, Evan Hammond, Mason Hammond, Roy Hammond, Jerrie Hawks (Anthony); four great-grandchildren, Jonah Sanko, Annie Sanko, Gavin Hammond and Peyton Hawks.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Sheila Ann Wood; her son-in-law David Wood; her daughter-in-law Robin Hammond; her husbands, Carl Robert Hammond and Robert McPherson; three sisters, Mozell Pugh, Charlotte Sollis, Beatrice White; and five brothers, Casey Hudson, Haskell Hudson, Buddy Hudson, Ed Hudson and Charles Hudson.
