Farrell Dwight Sellers, Sr., of Ridgely, Tennessee, came into the world on November 20, 1948. He was the seventh born child of James Andrew and Lena Mae (Stout) Sellers. He is preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and sisters - Dorothy, Gertrude, David, Glen, Gene and Baby James Daniel - and many other friends and loved ones.

Farrell Sellers, Jr,Joel Sellers,Christopher Sellers,Patrick Sellers,Farrell Sellers III,Travis Harvey,Edward Alexander IV,Robert Truschka will serve as pallbearers.
Farrell is survived by his seven wonderful children - Valerie Sellers (Shane Williamson) of Lake Station, Indiana; Farrell Sellers, Jr. (Christy) of Merrillville, Indiana; Joel Sellers of San Antonio, Texas; Ashley Alexander (Edward) of DeMotte, Indiana; Sheila Harvey (Michael) of San Antonio, Texas; Christopher Sellers of Tinley Park, Illinois; and, Patrick Sellers of Hammond, Indiana.
These seven wonderful children grew up to have a whole bunch of babies of their own - Caitlin Brambert; Morgan Brambert; Madeline Brambert; Echo Brambert; Stanley Williamson (Jesenia Chavez); Sage Williamson; Seth Williamson; Brittany Sanchez (Jonathan); Sarah Sellers; Farrell Sellers III (“Trey”); Edward Alexander IV; Gavin Alexander; Ryder Alexander; Ronin Alexander; Travis Harvey; Annabeth Harvey; Zoey Harvey; and three great grandchildren - Marceline Williamson; Antonio Williamson; and Elizabeth Williamson. Their Papaw was not up to speed on “Things Babies Shouldn’t Eat” and, therefore, ensured that his doodlebugs were always loaded up with Pepsi and ice cream sandwiches whenever possible.
Despite never losing that thick and glorious Sellers hair, and devilish good looks, Farrell always managed to stay humble. It was tough sometimes, though. Like the great Mac Davis once sang, “Oh Lord, it’s hard to be humble, when you’re perfect in every way.”
His list of attributes are long : not only was he handsome with a great head of hair, he was an accomplished dancer who gave Patrick Swayze a few tips on how to really move them hips; he could spout sports facts and stats like a pro; could do math in his head like a human calculator; and remembered everyone in the family’s addresses and phone numbers from 1976.
His one flaw? He was a sore loser - ask anyone who ever messed up a play on the softball field.
He was loved a whole lot by a lot of people and will be missed always.
