Etna Palmer

Etna Palmer, 94, of Lynchburg, VA, formerly of Dyersburg, died Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Guggenheimer Health & Rehab in Lynchburg, VA. Born August 6, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie B. and Clara Elizabeth King Asbridge.  She was an active member of the Northside Church of Christ of Dyersburg. She was a homemaker.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Fairview Cemetery conducted by Brother Don McCaslin and Brother Rick Willis.

Stacey Weeks, Ty Weeks, Britt Hall, Charles Palmer, Gatlin Willis, Jayson Norris and Emily Jackson will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Tuesday, December 10^th at the funeral home.

She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Ruth Holt of Lynchburg, VA; four grandchildren Stacey Weeks, Amy Jackson, Melissa Hall and Gatlin Willis; five great-grandchildren, Ty Weeks, Britt Hall, Carly Weeks, Jenna Norris, Emily Jackson and two great-great-grandchildren, Alexis Norris and Jackson Norris.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralphard Mace (R.M.) Palmer; two daughters Judy Ann Weeks, Janet Kaye Willis; and two brothers, Hadley Ray Asbridge and George Harold Asbridge.
