Emil "Sonny" Daniel Benedetto, Jr.

Emil “Sonny” Daniel Benedetto Jr., 80, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital surrounded by family. Born June 16, 1940, he is the son of the late Mary Bellace and Emil Daniel Benedetto, Sr. He was a retired Electrician and Master Carpenter that formally worked for Industrial Controls & Electrical LLC in Dyersburg TN.

Memorial funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2020 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Mr. Jim Chamblee.  The family will receive friends Friday beginning at 5:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Clint & Melinda Benedetto of Dyersburg; two grandchildren, Allison Benedetto, Katherine Benedetto; two sisters, Lucille Robbins of Hamburg, NJ, Deborah Martin (Tommy) of Humboldt, nieces Diane Abato, Brittney Teuton, Kristie Bartholomew, Lauren Scott; nephews, Billy Abato, Jimmy Robbins, Scott Robbins and their children.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Claudette Abato.

He will be greatly missed!
