Carlton Boyd

Carlton Boyd, 69, of Obion County, formerly of Lake County, died Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was employed as a bulldozer operator and garbage truck driver. He was born in Middle Tennessee.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2020 in the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Carl Southerland with interment to follow in Zion Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, February 20th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sharon Robison Boyd; two children, Carla Baize and husband, Kevin, David Boyd and wife Charlotte; four grandchildren, Mia Baize, Logan Baize, Aaliyah Burpo, Ryan Boyd; one brother Stanley Eaton and four sisters, Cathy Bell, Martha Nell White, Faye Bramlett and Linda Dean.

Hunter Lyles, Blake Haynes, Andrew Haynes, Jason Coleman, Andrew Haynes, Kenneth Sherron and Devin Sherron will serve as pallbearers.

He was preceded in death by two brothers Howard Boyd, Melvin Boyd and his mother, Martha Davidson.
