Carey Lynn Taylor Reed

Carey Lynn Taylor Reed, 42, of Caruthersville, MO, formerly of Dyersburg, died Friday, September 6, 2019 at Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO.  Born March 7, 1977, she is the daughter of Barbara Inman and the late Robert Inman. She was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2019 in the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Ronnie Turner with interment to follow in New Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 11^th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.                                                            

She is survived by her husband, Gregory Reed; one daughter, Rachel Reed of Kennett, MO; four sons, Derek Taylor, Dustin Taylor, Jacob Hertog, Tony Reed, all of Caruthersville, MO; four grandchildren, Jason Taylor, Payton Taylor, Aurora Nunnery, Destinee Taylor; one sister, Phyllis Shellhart of Dyersburg; and two brothers, Bobby Burkeen (Judy) of Dyersburg, Billy Burkeen (Ann) of Humboldt; nine nephews, Roger Belt, Larry Belt, Brandon Striffe, Luke Criswell, Colby Criswell, Timothy Johnson, Kelvin Flatt, Robert Flatt, Cory Crowe; and three nieces, Claire Burkeen, Kristin Johnson and Holly Boyd.

Doug Worley, Billy Burkeen, Terry Pigue, Roger Belt, Robert Flatt, Darek Taylor, Jr., Bobby Burkeen and Roger Brewer will serve as pallbearers.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Derek Taylor.
