Butch Pritchett

Thomas Edward “Butch” Pritchett, 72, of Finley, died Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at his residence. He was born February 25, 1949 to Dorothy Pritchett and the late Little Joe Pritchett and was a member of Finley Baptist Church. Butch was an avid Hot Rod and classic car enthusiast. He enjoyed hang-gliding, racing cars and motorcycles and was an airplane pilot.

Memorial services will be held Monday, April 5, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Finley Baptist Church officiated Brother Charlie Halliburton. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Emily Jane Pritchett; two daughters, Natalie Blaine Pritchett of Avon, CO, Katie Lynn Pritchett of Finley.  Also surviving is his Mother, Dorothy “Dot” Pritchett of Finley and brothers-in-law Robert Mauldin and wife Amy and Jack Mauldin.

He was preceded in death by his in-laws Wilburn and Geneva Mauldin and Brenda Mauldin of Ridgely.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed Finley Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
