Brenda Jean Gardner

Brenda Gardner, 74, of Cloverdale, died Sunday, June 16, 2019, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was a member of the Zion Methodist Church, Cloverdale, TN. Brenda was a retired factory worker who always took great pride in being a farmer’s wife. Brenda enjoyed the fellowship of her church and being actively involved with the activities of the Cloverdale Community Center. Services for Mrs. Gardner will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at Zion Methodist Church Cemetery at Cloverdale at 10:00 a.m. officiated by Brother Joe Thorn. Survivors include her daughter: Kim Dial and her husband, James of Cloverdale, TN; one granddaughter: Kelsy Dial of Cloverdale, TN; and two sisters: Kay Strawn of Dyersburg, TN, and Jan Kennedy of McLemoresville, TN. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years: Royce Gardner; and, one brother: Mike Townsend. Gerald Simrell, Bill Sellers, Greg Ervin, Bernie Cheatham, Benny McGuire, Darryl McGuire, and B.J. Hale will serve as pallbearers.
