Billy Carroll Smith

Billy Carroll Smith, 84, of Dyersburg, died Friday, December 24, 2021 at Oakwood Nursing Home.  Born October 27, 1937, he was the son of Robert McNeil and Beatrice Grimms Smith.  He was retired from Kroger and FedEx and was owner/operator of TV Tempo. He was a Baptist. Mr. Smith loved to coach and watch his children and grandchildren play sports. He was also an avid golfer.

Graveside services will be held at Oxford Memorial Cemetery in Oxford, MS at a later date.

He is survived by Former spouse- Janet Ingram Smith; Sons- Billy Smith (Rochelle), Les Smith (Carolyn), Brian Smith (Kimberly), and Kevin Smith (Amy); Grandchildren- Candi Harrington (Jonathan), Les Smith II (Katy), Ashton Hudson (Bryan), Allison Smith, Matt Smith, Dustin Smith, Max Smith, Mason Smith, Mitchell Smith, Morgan Smith, Blaine (Maddie) Smith, and Axton Smith; and Great Grandchildren- Maylee Blackwood, Caroline Harrington, Luke Harrington, Summerlyn Smith, Lincoln Smith, and Margot Laurie Smith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Brothers- Richard Smith, Donald Smith; and Sisters- Rachel Walker, Gladys Scott, Ima Jo Nichols, Virginia Blackwell, Ruby Gaddy, Vera Beene.
