Cynthia Viola Patterson

Cynthia Viola Patterson, 88, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker and a member of Independent Free Holiness Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Evansville Free Holiness Church with Bro. Mac Daniels and Bro. Calvin Smith officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg. The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Survivors include two daughters, Virginia Owens and Cathy Wilson, both of Dyersburg; four sons, Frank Inman, Travis Inman and Joseph Anthony Inman, all of Dyersburg and Roy Leon Morris of Ridgely; a sister, Lois Rose of Henderson; 20 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Franklin Inman and Robert "Bob" Patterson; a daughter, Ellen Jane Shackelford; a son, Larry Dale Inman; her parents, J.K. and Ethel Morris; three sisters, Irene Armstrong, Dot Clark and Hazel Robbins; a brother, Floyd Morris; and a granddaughter, Leslie Renee Inman.
