Mitchell Allen Hipp

Mitchell Allen Hipp, 41, of Dyersburg, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2008 at his residence. He was an active member of the Assembly of God in Newbern. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Curry Funeral Home with Pastor Hirchie Schaffner officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Survivors include his fiancée, Alison Murray; two daughters, Shelby Elaine Hipp of Lewisburg and Haley Montana Hipp of Newbern; his mother, Linda Stone and husband, Elliott, of Brighton; his stepmother, Sylvia Hipp of Newbern; two sisters, Cathleen Warren and Jennifer Hipp, both of Newbern; and two brothers, twin Michael Allen Hipp of Norcross, Ga., and Tony Hipp of Newbern. He was preceded in death by his father, John Allen Hipp. Pallbearers will be Cameron Hipp, Jared Orman, Steven Murray, Wayne Augry and Kyle Autry. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Hipp, Jeff Orman, John Paul Orman, Rusty Burrow, Randy Burrow and Casey King.
