Dovie Joanne Stoneburner

Joanne Dean Stoneburner, 51, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was a homemaker and attended the Church of God of Prophecy. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Curry Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg. Survivors include her companion, Arnulfo Lopez of Dyersburg; two sisters, Ann Burse and husband, Jerry, of Brookfield, Ill., and Anita K. Dean of Dyersburg; several nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Josie Dean. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Dovie Viola Newman Dean; and a brother, Larry Dean. Pallbearers will be Jacob Burse, Zachary Burse, Randy Burse, Anthony Dean, Jerry Burse, Tommy Simon and Lemont Hall.
