Sue Smith

Sue Smith, 74, of Obion, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009 at her residence. She was a homemaker. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Zion Cemetery in Elbridge with Bro. John Fowler officiating. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include her husband, L.B. Smith of Obion; a stepdaughter, Pat Smith and husband, Louis, of Dyersburg; a sister, Maxine Tyland of Hasperia, Mich.; a brother, J.W. Pruitt of Phoenix, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Pearl Blacley Pruitt; two sisters, Helen Pruitt and Carolyn Pruitt; and a brother, Charles Pruitt. Pallbearers will be Eddie Pruitt, Bart Sanders, Kevin Sanders, Gary Jones, Roger Roberts, Jamie Pritchett and Freddie Smith.
