Pauline Smith

Pauline Smith, 98, of Ridgely, died Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at Oakwood Community Living Center. She was a homemaker and a member of Bogota Baptist Church for over 20 years. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Bro. John Fowler, Bro. Paul Hogue and Bro. Bob Ozment officiating. Burial will be Zion Cemetery in Elbridge. The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Pledge and husband, Terry, of Newbern and Pat Smith and husband, Louis, of Dyersburg; two sons, L.B. Smith and Bobby Smith and wife, Joyce, all of Ridgely; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Smith; a daughter, Margaret Jones; two sons, Dennis Smith and Almous Helen Smith; her parents, Robert and Josephene Reames Paschall; four sisters, Prude King, Rena Hollandworth, Evelyn Hollandworth and Reba Paschall; and three brothers, Claude Paschall, Connie Paschall and Dick Paschall. Pallbearers will be Kevin Sanders, Bart Sanders, Darin Watson, Jeff Wright, Freddie Smith, Corie Smith, William Capps and Tommy Gurien.
