Jimmy L. Brim, 58, of Dyersburg died Friday, July 3, 2009 at the Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. He was a retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant and farmer. Visitation for friends was from 5-8 pm Sunday, July 5, 2009 at Curry Funeral Home. Funeral services for Mr. Brim were at 1 pm, Monday, July 6, 2009 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Halliburton officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Dyersburg. He is survived by his daughter, Joanie Brim Owens of Dyersburg; six sisters, Sandra Kay Hipps and Lena Copeland of Dyersburg, Peggy Weeks of Milan, Linda Brown of Blytheville, AR, Patricia Lambske of Atlanta, GA, and Terry Frank of Vienna, VA; two brothers, Thomas Brim of Dyersburg, Roger Brim of Blytheville, AR; and, three grandchildren, Adrian Owens, Chelsey Owens, and Kelsey Owens all of Dyersburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, Erma Lucille and Edgar Brim; two sisters, Margaret Sexton and Mayfair Brim; and five brothers, Larry Joe Brim, Raymond Brim, Melvin Brim, Jerry Brim and Eddie Wayne Brim.
