Ralph A. Reeves

Ralph Aaron Reeves, 62, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Ralph was born January 4, 1947 in Dyersburg where he lived his entire life. He was a former Washtex of Dyersburg employee and also farmed. Ralph attended church services at the South Main Church of Jesus Christ in Dyersburg. His love of the outdoors led him to become an avid gardener, fisherman, and hunter. Graveside services for Ralph Reeves will be held Friday, August 21, 2009, at 10:00 am at the Dyersburg City Cemetery on East Court Street conducted by Brother Ernest Pirofalo. Pallbearers will be Gilberto Charcas, Lori McCord, Terry Reeves, William Tolley, and Brian Ashley. Curry Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. He is survived by the mother of his children, Patricia McCord of Dyersburg; three daughters, Sherry Seiber of Halls, Melissa J. Ferebee and Kelly A. Reeves, both of Dyersburg; two sons, Ralph A. Reeves, Jr. and Ralph Scotty Reeves of Dyersburg; six sisters, Tina Marie Anderson of Fulton, KY, Sandra K. Reeves of Newbern, Bonnie M. Haynes of Tatumville, and, Mary V. Moore, Patricia K. Sanders, and Kathy Sue Reeves all of Dyersburg; one brother, Brady E. Reeves, Sr. of Dyersburg; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents Illa Janie Campbell Reeves and Grady Ewell Reeves; and, three brothers, Hubert Reeves, Kevin Reeves, and George Ewell Reeves
