Jeanette H. Cates

Mrs. Jeanette H. Cates, 80, of Tiptonville, TN died Saturday, September 4, 2010 at her residence. She attended First United Methodist Church in Tiptonville and was a very active community member. Memorial graveside services will be held at a later date. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include her daughter, Soraya Cates Parr and her grandson Colton Cates Parr both of Fairview, TN, her sister-in-law "Boo" Neary of Texas, 4 nieces, Helen Dale Simons of Texas, Ann Cromwell, Cathy Smith and Christy Day, all of Tennessee and 3 nephews, Skipper Homra, Alex Homra and Terry Homra, all of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.C. Cates and in 1958 a daughter, Leah Dale Cates, her parents Alexander and Almaz and 3 brothers George Homra, Ralph Homra and Lee Homra.
