William C. Henson

Mr. William C. Henson, 74, of Michie, TN died Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis. He was a retired employee of HB Fuller Adhesives in Memphis, TN. Mr. Henson was an Elder at Stantonville Church of Christ and a former Elder at Gragg/Stagg Road Church of Christ in Memphis where he was a resident for over 35 years. Services will be at 11:00 am Friday in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Brother Larry Redmond, Brother Glen Burse and Brother Larry Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The Henson family will receive visitors Thursday evening, October 7th from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Christine "Tene" Henson of Michie, TN, 2 daughters, Vicky Thomason and husband Jim and Devona Shirley and husband Mike of Ramer, TN, 2 sisters Wilma Smith and husband Larry of Hornbeak, TN, Brenda Mason and husband Kenneth of Covington, TN, 3 brothers, Kelly Henson and wife Bonnie of Covington, Herbert Henson and wife Sequoia of Memhis, TN, Tony Henson and wife Sue of Hornbeak, TN, 6 grandchildren, James Thomason, Ashley Gray, Rhonda Bellah, Justin Shirley, Clay Shirley and Alyssa Shirley and 5 great-grandchildren, Aspen Gray, Mallorie Gray, Ian Gray, William Taylor Thomason and Callie Bellah. He was preceded in death by his parents Woodrow Wilson and Darris Estes Henson. Pallbearers will be Kelly Henson, Larry Smith, Herbert Henson, Tony Henson, Larry Russell, George Puckett, Tom Weems, Glen Burse and Kenneth Mason.
