Mavis Foster Hubble

Mrs. Mavis Foster Hubble, 69, of Dyersburg, TN died Wednesday, October 06, 2010 at her daughter's residence in Dyersburg. She was a member of The Sanctuary Church. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 08, 2010 in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Bro. Ronald Lovins and Bro. John Morris officiating. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive visitors Thursday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Buffington of Dyersburg and Kim Hampton of Jackson, Tn; one son, Joy "Joe" Hubble II of Dyersburg; one brother, Cleo (Joe) Foster of Greensboro, Ga.; eight Grandchildren and eight Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joy Hubble; her parents, Theo and Bessie Swindle Foster; her son, Terry Allen Hubble; two sisters, Elizabeth Hisaw and Mary Lou Burgo; and two brothers, Alton Foster and George Foster. Pallbearers will be Josh Buffington, Casey Kennedy, Brad Smith, William Fields, Robert Jones, and Jim Davis. The family requests that memorials be directed to Dyersburg Community Cancer Fund.
