William Edward "Willie" Capps

Mr. William Edward "Willie" Capps, 71, of Dyersburg, TN died Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2011 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The Capps family will receive visitors Friday, January 21st from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Linda Capps of Dyersburg, 2 daughters, Lisa Lamb and husband Kurtiss of Dyersburg, Marlene Bates and husband Danny of Portland, TN, 2 sons, William Edward Capps, Jr. of Dyersburg, Mike Capps of Tupelo, MS, 5 sisters, Ann Canada and husband Butch and Rita Warren, both of Dyersburg, Lucille Pruitt and husband Terry of Dover, TN, Thelma Perciful of Friendship, Debra Campbell of Memphis, 1 brother, Hew Capps and wife Wilma of Dyersburg, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Angela Renea Capps, 1 son, William Ray Capps, 1 brother Dwayne Capps and his parents William Haley and Marcella Crafton Capps.
