Laura Ruth Weldon

Mrs. Laura Ruth Weldon, age 63, of Dyersburg died Friday, February 18, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She was a retired nurse for over 40 years. She attended Second Baptist Church. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 21, 2011 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Reverend Ronnie Turner and Brother Rich Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Ripley Memorial Gardens. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The Weldon family will receive visitors Sunday, February 20th from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Bill Weldon of Dyersburg, 2 sisters, Helen Maclin of Dyersburg and Louise Williams of Troy, TN and and 3 brothers, Neiman C. Maclin, Jr. and wife Beverly Donald Maclin, both of Louisville, KY and David Maclin and wife Joan of Marion, KY, 5 nieces, 2 nephews, 1 great niece and 2 great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Neiman Columbus and Annie Brown Maclin and a niece Natalie Maclin. Pallbearers will be Rich Evans, Paul Maclin, Blake Turner, Charles Burnett, Blake Evans and Preston Turner.
