Joe E. Chadwick

Mr. Joe E. Chadwick, 85, of Tiptonville, TN died Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. He was a life member of The American Legion and participated in the decorating of soldiers graves for over 60 years. Services will be Monday, February, 2011, at 1p.m. in the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Cassandra Chadwick officiating. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive visitors on Monday from 10 a.m. until service time. Survivors include a daughter, Marsha Mitchell and husband "Mitch" of Oakland, Tn.; three sons, Charles Chadwick and wife Cassandra of Tiptonville; Tim Chadwick and wife Susan of St. Charles, Mo.; Jerry Chadwick and wife Donna of Jackson, Tn.; two sisters, Judy Nunnery of Ridgely and Virginia Weems of South Carolina; ten grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Browning Chadwick, his parents, A. C. and Madge Clark Chadwick; two sisters, Helen Speltz and Hazel Chadwick; and three brothers A. C. Chadwick Jr., Charlie Chadwick, and John Chadwick. Pallbearers Ryan Chadwick, Nathan Chadwick, Josh Chadwick, Jacob Chadwick, David Ayers, and Mike Atchison.
